We said last week a Contested Divorce is a Divorce where there is at least one unresolved issue between two spouses divorcing. Common issues discussed are children and finances. An Uncontested Divorce is in opposite.
An Uncontested Divorce is one in which there are no unresolved issues being discussed. Usually neither spouse is in disagreement with each other over any divorce-related issues. The common ones being children and finances. Uncontested Divorces can still require plenty of thought, patience, and legal work. But the process is a little different from Contested Divorce.
